Dinner @ Korea Palace.
Had dinner with the family, its my first time eating Korean food in Penang. My previous one was in KL. One thing I like about the restaurant is they have this big LCD screen placed in front of the restaurant, I was fangirling over performances aired that night. Can't help it, been a fan of Korea entertainment at the age of 12 till now. Feel like sharing pictures in black and white, so here they go. Tea. It tasted more like water. Mum and Andrea. One of the side dishes. Barbequing. My favourite, together with the barbequed meat wrapped in it. With my elder sister. Another sister sitting opposite me. Mei, mum, Andrea. Captured with self-timer. I thought the watermelon was cut according to the shape of an arrow, until my sister tell me "No lah, its a Christmas tree." I don't feel the Christmas spirit at all this year, haven't been going out lately or catching up movies. Thanks to camp.

Status : Busy with camp banners. Going off later to work on them again. Today's the 14th day painting, I gave myself a shock when I check the calendar. One fortnight passes so quickly. I promise I'll share the pictures of the banners after camp. Will be back.

Pillow Fight Event @ Penang Times Square.
School holidays have just begun, how are you guys doing? :) I'm still busy with my preparation for camp, its in another 10 days time. Anyway, I dropped by Times Square on Saturday for the first Pillow Fight event held in Penang. Met Alicia Thor (my childhood friend), Pei Ying and Chien Ming once I reached. Bumped into a number of friends and bloggers later on. Yi Ching getting her pillow at the counter. The weather wasn't really fine that morning, was drizzling all the time. That made the event started late too. So I roamed around taking pictures ; chatting with friends. I lent Chien Ming my external flash. I took lesser shots to prevent the battery from running out cause I had another event to attend later on. Those 3 kids are siblings if I'm not mistaken. They were the spotlights of the day! I got a free pillow, thanks to Alicia and Pei Ying for their extra ticket. I was hugging it most of the time and covered Derrick the camera from the rain until Qi Xuan kindly snatched it away from me. LOL By the way, my first hit of the day was Wern Yen, followed on by Sheng Hui. :) The guy emcee is a local Malay artist, who speaks fluent Chinese too. He made an appearance in one of the 15MALAYSIA short films. Check him out. Officially started at 11.30am. Yang Kwang, Yan Xun, Qi Xuan and Ying Chen the beatboxer. The emcee was one of the hottest targets! Look at his exhausted expression. Hahaha. Teoh Gini, one of the Leo Idol's finalist. Her performance was great, presented Avril Lavigne's Sk8ter Boi and Taylor Swift's You Belong With Me. That's about it, hope to see more people participating in the next Pillow Fight event!

SPBT & Shi Jia's Birthday Surprise.
Us working in the SPBT room. More of like gossiping from the picture above. Jo's facial expression is priceless. I volunteered myself to be one of the SPBT (Skim Pinjaman Buku Teks) helpers, a way to skip those boring programmes for Form 3 students after PMR / rather than sitting down at the mini hall for the whole schooling period. Labelling the books, part of our job. The new BM literature books for Form Ones. As for our part... The new BM novel. Well I hope the story is interesting, I haven't been reading the past three books though. I don't have a thing for BM storybooks. English literature component for Form 4s and 5s from next year onwards. Harga Remaja, the new BM literature component book for Form 4s. As our teacher advisor wasn't around and we got nothing better to do... We took group pictures with the self-timer. :D Take 1 - Boys Over Flowers craze. (Jolene with her SS501 album) A surprise gift of mine from Ming the bi partner. Love ya haha! Take 2 - Love sign. Take 3 - 007. Take 4 - The study group. We somehow look fake and natural at the same time. I love their faces over here. Next, spotlight on Natasha. Piggy back #1 Piggy back #2 The bridal lift! Ming and Jo. Not to forget, its also Shi Jia's birthday. So, the gang and I quickly went down to canteen earlier (illegal recess to be precise) to prepare a surprise for the birthday girl. The cake. Blowing out the candles. Our tradition - Biting the candles out from the cake using the mouth. I was hinting Ming from the back when SJ's reaching for the last candle. And TA-DA... The result! Apologize for the blur image. The destroyed cake. We ate the whole thing anyway. Natasha's Talk to the Hand. I find this pretty cool to share with, its a Bamboo digital keychain. Belongs to Ming. The keychain displays images you transfer in through cable. As for Ming, she definitely insert the pictures of her favourite Korean celebrities. 4 more schooling days. I'll appreciate my last few days in lower secondary. "I was counting down to PMR. Now I am counting down to camp." Time flies.

School Magazine.
Received my school magazine today! Everyone was curious what colour will the cover be, and when they see it on one glance, they go ewww. I was thinking what's wrong with the cover. I pretty much like it although I prefer the one last year. Anyway, congratulations to the Editorial Board of the year 2009. :) I was supposed to be a member of EB, but did not join due to personal reasons. I would like to see magazines from other schools! Trade, anyone? Unfortunately the page doesnt look too good in the magazines, the colours look odd.
Note to self : - Traplex is 17 days away. - I only have 6 schooling days left this year. Sad to say, Form 3 is about to end in a blink of an eye! - Time Out @ Water Sports Centre right after Traplex. To join or not to join? - The One Academy 2 years study programme, 80% of me will be going. - Lots of movies to catch up. New Moon on the first day of school holidays, whoa I can imagine the long queue to buy tickets at the cinema.

Fort Cornwallis.
It has been ages since I visited Fort Cornwallis. This time was to accompany some visitors from Sabah, related to my sister when she was studying there back then. This short-looking statue (or a litter bin?) reminds me of Mister Potato chips. :D Sis trying out for a game of Congkak. Following are some pictures to share with you readers. Seri Rambai Cannon. I remember this place used to be a hot spot for PMR students to complete the History folio this year. But I did Khoo Kongsi as I find eastern heritage is more interesting compared to the others. Till then. :)

I love camwhoring with the cell phone. And I simply love the colour blue.
I always believe that...
Photography is a learning process. One with a good camera does not mean he/she'll be able to take good shots. An interesting entry from Kenny Sia, click to read if you're interested. > |Big Cameras vs Small Cameras |
